Not long ago we released our first developer diary video for The Secret World, featuring Ragnar Tørnquist, Joel Bylos and Dag Scheve from the development team talking about the story and the missions players will encounter in the game. Last week we revealed three unique locations that players will get to explore in The Secret World. New blog entry from Joel Bylos: Creating the World

How do developers go about creating online worlds? That's the question Lead Content Designer Joel Bylos tackles in his latest blog entry. In this first part of his 'Creating the World' entry, Joel talks about the research and the design process. Joel will follow up later with the second part where he will talk more about the actual production process and the tools involved.

Characters page revealed on the official site

Since our last newsletter, we have opened up a brand new page under 'World' on the official The Secret World website. The characters page currently features a small selection of different characters that you can learn more about, and these are all characters that players get to meet in the game. We will add more characters to page later.

Developers speaks out in blogs, interviews and the official forums

Once in a while our developers find time in their busy schedules to sit down and write a blog entry that is made available on the official The Secret World website. Recently, Lead Content Designer Joel Bylos and Lead Designer Martin Bruusgaard also made their entry onto the official forums, where they will drop by now and then to answer questions and collect feedback.
